APRIL FAVOURITES 2015

This month has been filled with adventure and discovery of new and old products.I have been getting back into reading books other than textbooks and have discovered new ideas and have got caught up in a world of adventure, action and romance.

The first book I have been loving is 'LOVE TANYA' by Tanya Burr, this is a great book for teens to young adults. It covers multiple topics; with helpful tips and tricks, to recipes, and activities. This book involves the reader to join in and write done their own ideas and thoughts. It is really well set out and is something I can always pick up and read certain bits or create the delicious recipes.

I may be a bit late for the Dauntless train but a few pages in, I got hooked and leapt into the adventure that was waiting ahead. And wow it has certainly been one, if you are like me and haven't yet picked 'Divergent' by Veronica Roth, what are you waiting for!! It is amazing, I haven't read a book in ages that I have been obsessed with and can't put down. Every time I start a new chapter it was like, what is going to happen now. Even if you have seen the movie I would recommend to still read the book, as it not only has extra bits of the story but it is one of those stories that you can play it out in your mind. To me it was relatable in the way that I may not fit in to what society wants, but that's alright maybe we are not meant to fit in a glass box, maybe it takes a certain sort of courage to break through it.I can not wait to start reading the next book, 'Insurgent'.

For the last couple of months I have been loving the 'Makeup Geek' eye shadows. The colour pay of and blend-ability is amazing, for my everyday makeup and work makeup the neutrals are perfect. You can use them in a soft and subtle look or build them up to create a more defined look. My go to colours are (from the top clockwise): Vanilla Bean, Peach Smoothie, Mocha, Creme Brûlée and Ice Queen.

Lately I have been playing around with different perfumes, I came across this sample/mini perfume that was in my draw and have been wearing it every wear that I am a drop away from finishing. 'Pure White Linen' by Estee Launder is a fresh, slightly sweet fragrance that is perfect for spring. It doesn't have a  strong overpowering smell, and lasts nearly all day. I shall definitely be buying a larger bottle of this once I have found it.

Ever since I cut my hair short and dyed it from brown to blonde to brown, it has become frizzy and dry. But the 'ever straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy' shampoo and conditioner have made a huge difference. Even letting it air dry now, my hair stays soft, smooth and feels stronger. It contains cocoa nut oil, keratin proteins, avocado oil and cocoa butter, it also smells divine.
